TGM: "You live a new life for every new language you speak. If you know only one language, you live only once."

(TGM – Czechoslovak politician, statesman, sociologist, and philosopher)

Since its beginning, the HF Foundation has been dedicated to the Lingua Franca Scholarship project to support language education of secondary school students. By means of competition, it aims for compensation of the insufficient level of English language graduation skills (currently B1 or B2) in the Czech Republic.

The project has long been motivating young students from the Czech Republic so that after completing their secondary education, they have the language proficiency that will enable them to continue their studies abroad and, above all, to compete in the highly competitive job market in the Czech Republic, the EU or anywhere in the world.

Selected successful candidates are awarded the 100% of the CAE language exam fee by the Lingua Franca Scholarship.
